Quinta de Vargellas is a leader among the great wine estates in the Douro. Taylor's 2015 is a finely constructed and elegant port, packed with ripe, complex fruit and well integrated tannins. The distinctive nose is fine and lifted, with woodland, earthy notes mingling alongside stewed, plummy fruits. A very fine single-quinta port for enjoying now or laying down for a few more years.
