Second cru classe, Chateau Lamothe Guignard is located on one of the highest elevations in all of Sauternes. The view from the top of the vineyard looks over the whole span of the very picturesque Ciron river valley.
The excellent 2005 vintage is a rich gold in appearance and displays delightful nuances of apricot and mandarin.
Push the boat out and try matching with luxurious seafood dishes, especially shellfish, lobster, crab, and oysters. Foie gras is also a perfect pairing with its natural sweet, salty and savoury characteristics.
