One of the top Cru Bourgeois properties in the commune, Chateau Le Crock offers textbook St Estephe wines, with great colour and concentration. The wines are aged in small oak barrels for around 18 months and then bottled unfiltered, adding even more layers of complexity and texture to the palate.
Offered here in a rare magnum format, (which if anything has aided the maturation process even more) this has a delicately scented nose with some developed, baked black fruit characters and leads through to a well integrated palate with developed tannins, spiced cassis fruit and an earthy, rounded finish.
