One of the main protagonists in the renaissance of Southern Italian wines, Feudi di San Gregorio has carved out a reputation for making truly world-class wines in less than 30 years. The company began in the mid 1980s with the aim of safeguarding local traditions and unlocking the potential of key indigenous grapes such as Fiano, Greco, Falanghina and Aglianico. Now a multi award-winning producer, Feudi di San Gregorio was named as one of Wine & Spirits Magazine’s Top 100 Wineries in 2021.
The beautiful Feudi di San Gregorio vineyards are spread out over lush and gentle hills in Sorbo Serpico, about an hour from Naples and Mount Vesuvius. The soils are a unique mix of volcanic rock, sandstone and marl and if that's not enough, each vineyard is closely monitored with a meteorological station, while the new state-of-the-art wine cellar ensures that each vintage has a good a start in life as possible. The vineyards are Equalitas certified, meaning that they are run on ecological principals, with no use of pesticides, and with natural biodiversity encouraged.
Serrocielo is 100% Falanghina, delivering delicate floral notes with exotic, zesty fruit aromas. Vibrant fruit flavours on the palate with a hint of peach melba lead to a soft texture and a lovely minerality on the finish.
