75cl * 13% ABV * Rias Baixas, Spain
Grown in the Rias Baixas, in the Val do Salnes on traditional pergola-led vines, this 100% Albarino is made from hand-harvested grapes which are air pressed, fermented and aged on the lees for six months in a stainless-steel tank at the winery before being aged for a further six months at a depth of 12 meters under the sea.
This sub-aquarian aging contributes to the freshness of the wine, avoiding any oxidisation as it's aged, and adds to its cellaring potential. Intense straw yellow in colour, it’s clean and brilliant with a good persistence and a very fresh acidity. It’s full-bodied, salty and underpinned by a lingering finish.
