The Stonehorse wines are full of character like the teams of Clydesdale horses that used to work the heavy clay soil at the Kaesler vineyard, long before tractors were invented. A full-bodied chardonnay. Pale straw in colour, with notes of pear, white peaches and apricots with familiar citrus notes on the nose. Floral characters and well balanced, a crisp acidity to finish.
Try with brown butter-poached halibut with celeriac puree and caper crumbs.
