Established in 1896, Te Mata Estate remains family owned and a firm fixture in the Hawke's Bay landscape. This traditional Hawke's Bay blend (the pluralisation of Cabernet in the title is deliberate) produces a rewarding, complex wine showing ripe blackcurrant, plum and chocolate flavours with a supple and sustained palate. It will continue to evolve for the next three years (five years from harvest) in the bottle, so if you can wait until then you'll have a real treat on your hands.
