75cl * Burgundy, France
Domaine de la Vougeraie was formed from the accruing of the Boissot acquisitions over the years. Pascal Marchand took the helm in 1999 and was known for making powerful, heavily extracted wines before moving to a more restrained style a few years later. Gorgeous with soft mixed red and black berries, earthy gravel and smoke show on top of some brooding meaty notes.

This bottle is part of a wine cellar purchased from a highly respected Master of Wine (MW) with whom I have worked for many years and who is recognised as one of the world’s Italian wine experts. It has been stored in the MW’s own cellar or climate-controlled storage and I have every belief that it is in tip-top condition. However, as with all purchases of this nature there has to be an element of caveat emptor to proceedings – as such, we will not be able to offer refunds or returns on this item.
