150cl * Bordeaux, France
The Fourth Growth Branaire-Ducru is famed for producing a rich and pure Saint-Julien. Full of balsamic, black tea, poached and dried plum and herbal notes, this teases between medium and full-bodied. The vintage and the wine's resulting structure and chewy structure (even when tasted in 2020) definitely suggest long cellaring potential. A star of the vintage.

This bottle is part of a wine cellar purchased from a highly respected Master of Wine (MW) with whom I have worked for many years and who is recognised as one of the world’s Italian wine experts. It has been stored in the MW’s own cellar or climate-controlled storage and I have every belief that it is in tip-top condition. However, as with all purchases of this nature there has to be an element of caveat emptor to proceedings – as such, we will not be able to offer refunds or returns on this item.
