From the textbook 2016 Rhone vintage come these outstanding halves of Chateauneuf-du-Pape sourced from around 40 different parcels scattered across the appellation. Although a long-term big hitter in the Rhone, Bosquet's wines have only gone from strength-to-strength and is today regarded as one of the finest producers in the region. Approachable already and very focused, it charms with its notes of wild raspberry compote, tobacco smoke, dried petals, Provencal herbs and liquorice. More than appealing in its youth, it will hold for a decade or more in the right conditions. Gorgeous. Drink to 2030.
