Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon
75cl * Vegan * 15.5% ABV * South Australia
Rich with blackberry, cassis, chocolate, vanilla oak and liquorice, this is firmly built, yet silky in texture and a seamless blend of two of the world's most popular red varieties - Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. The name has been inspired by Anna Perenna, the Roman goddess of the New Year, who symbolises the year’s cycle and her name translates as ‘enduring year’. The symbol on the label is the Egyptian Ankh (pronounced: onk). Historically the ankh symbolised sunrise, regeneration, regrowth and renewal. Voluptuous, opulent and yet refined, with a very long and satisfying finish, this is a fine wine that will mature extremely well with long term cellaring up to 20 years.

The Taurus team tried this with Nick Keukenmeester from Glaetzer and loved the cassis/ eucalypt and black pepper flavours. Nick recommends serving no warmer than 16 degrees, preferably decanted for a minimum of a couple of hours.
