75cl * 13.5% ABV * Burgundy, France
Established in the 1920s, Dauvissat has unquestionably become the highest regarded property in Chablis. 11 hectares of vines are split between Grand and Premier Cru sites and the wines are characterised for their energy, intensity and unrivalled potential. Regarded as the most reticent wine in the range, this needs some time to develop in the bottle. With age, orange blossom, wet stone, honey, toast and orchard fruit will emerge on the extremely complex and balanced palate. It will gain richness and butteriness, as well. Focussed and intense. Well-matched with lobster, white meats or buttery sauces.
