Huia’s heavenly Blanc de Blanc is a premium Champagne-method vintage sparkling wine, made from 100% organic Chardonnay grapes. The grapes are all handpicked and the juice is fermented in French oak barrels, before being blended into a large French oak vat. The wine has been aged on its lees for 32 months before being hand riddled and disgorged on site at Huia Vineyards.
This wine beats many Champagnes hands down, in both style and quality. The bubbles are fine and the mousse is deliciously mouth filling and persistent. The finish goes on for ages. The palate exhibits generous notes of hazelnuts and citrus with a silky creamy finish.
