Esk Valley wines has a pedigree that dates back to 1933 and they apply the same dedication that they have over these many years to growing, sourcing and making well made wines. The use of concrete tanks for fermentation, a tendency to use wild indigenous yeasts and long lees aging to give their wines complexity and body.
This merlot dominant blend is silky smooth and full of forward red and black fruit character. Full-bodied and full of flavours of blackcurrant, dried herbs, plums and blackberry. A delicious wine, great with a beef based asian-style rice bowl, burgers or pizza.
