The Barossa Valley is best-known for its spicy, full-bodied reds made from Shiraz, however white Rhone varieties are beginning to show great promise. Lifted, fresh citrus combines with full and fruity notes of apricot and honey. Creamy and at the same time zesty, a hint of spice and minerality adds complexity. Supremely food-friendly, this can stand up to dishes packed with ginger and chilli.
