This four-hectare property was bought by two medical students who bonded over homebrew at university. What a long way they've come! Just 75 cases of their top cuvée - coming from vines that lie next to a row of apple trees - are made. Dark and savoury-sweet, the rich, black-fruited profile is kept in check by pleasingly firm tannins. Its dark cherry, kirsch and wild herb notes would suit seared duck breast.
