This comprises a blend of indigenous (Antao Vaz, Arinto, Fernao Pires) and international varieties (Chardonnay, Marsanne and Roussanne) grown in the heart of the Lisboa wine region. The vineyards lie between the slopes of the Montejunto mountain, which offers protection from the sometimes bracing Atlantic winds, and the river Tagus. Following a winemaking philosophy of minimal intervention, they only use indigenous yeasts, filter minimally and carry out fermentation in concrete tanks. This is a big wine with lots of juicy stone fruit - peach and nectarine - that combines with hazelnut and a toasty, bready character. Pair with barbecued trout or sea bream.
