This Clarendelle Bordeaux red is elegant and balanced instead of being jammy and concentrated, despite the long Indian summer ripening time of the 2016 vintage.
Fruity, with aromas of red fruit and blackcurrant alongside floral and violet overtones. Strong tannins balanced with a deliciously velvety texture makes it smooth, powerful, and generous on the palate. A reletively high level of acidity gives this wine an admirable freshness and tremendous balance, without any hardness.
Decant for an hour before serving at about 18-20C
