The ‘Classico’ designation indicates that Ormanni’s vineyards lie in the oldest and most authentic part of Tuscany, so this is Chianti as it should be: intensely fragrant aromas of cherry, raspberry, leather and tarragon are backed up by underlying fresh acidity and dry, muscular tannins that make their presence felt. Allow these to soften with time in the cellar or lend grip in their youth to tomato-based dishes.
