Grenache/Cinsault/Cabernet Sauvignon Blend * 75cl * 12.5% * Provence, France
Another of our favourite Provence rosés - this one just a little fuller than its stablemates. A blend of local grapes, this high-quality rosé has a very soft texture and delicious palate filled with peach, citrus and red berry fruits.
The grapes are hand-harvested from organic vineyards in the south of France and slowly and delicately pressed. The wine is then made by Romain Ott, a member of Provence’s most famous rosé-producing dynasty. His experience in crafting serious, but exceedingly drinkable pink wines has been the bedrock of the chateau’s considerable success.
With 4km of private coastline, and vineyards and olive groves that cover some 560 hectares, Château Léoube really is a magical place. If you get the chance to visit, then go – there are few better ways to end a day’s work than sitting on the beach eating bouillabaisse with a chilled glass of Secret de Léoube in your hand.
