Riesling * 37.5cl * 12% ABV * Marlborough, New Zealand
Vibrant Riesling aromas of citrus zest and honeysuckle are accompanied by concentrated Noble Botrytis characters of apricot, mango and dried fruits. The palate is characteristically moreish with an enticing marmalade and sweet spice core balanced by a fine backbone of persistent and refreshing acidity. This wine displays outstanding concentration with layers of mouth-filling flavours.
The 2013 vintage started with warmer than usual conditions during spring, with fairly mild and consistently warm summer. The fruit was hand- harvested late season with several passes through the vineyard and careful attention paid to separating the ideally ‘raisined’ fruit
