Torres Ibericos Rioja Crianza 2006 (Spain)
Ibericos takes its name from the Iberian Peninsula, a land of lonely oaks and ancient vineyards. Deep red cherry colour, On the nose it reveals notes of forest fruits (Blueberries and blackberries)balanced with dark-toasted notes from the wood. On the palate it has smooth tannins and fine fruity sensations. Goes well with roasted meats, stews, Iberian charcuterie and cured cheeses.
Joseph Cattin Tradition "1720" 2008 (Alsace, France)
Don' be fooled by the tall bottle this is a bone-dry blend of 1/3 Pinot Blanc, 1/3 Pinot Gris and 1/3 Riesling. The Pinots giving the wine a lovey rich and soft mouthfeel, the Riesling showing itself as a subtle minerality. Lovely wine.

Domaine de la Vieille Tour 2009 Côtes de Provence Rosé (France)
Domaine de Vieille Tour is a 22 hectare estate situated between Pierrefeu and Cuers in the golden triangle of Var. Its vineyards benefit from lying in a slight geographical depression which has a particular micro climate, encouraging long and even ripening of the grapes. The wine is a perfect pale pink and appealing with nice varietal Grenache fruit. On the palate it is soft , ripe and juicy. Very friendly clean fruit flavours, well balanced with some depth and even a hint of tannins and that tang so typical of Provence Roses on the finish.
Tabali Viognier 2008 (Limari Valley) Chile
Tabali has only been around since 2003, but its wines received great accolades from the word go. The vineyard is in one of the northernmost (and hence theoretically warmest) regions in Chile, but this region's local 'Camanchaca' fog blankets the area each morning and afternoon coastal breezes bring cool air. Both help bring out the more delicate flavours in the fruit, as Anthony Rose of the Independent found:
"The promising Tabali in Limari is coming out with an exciting range of styles such as the peachy and zesty-fresh Tabali Viognier."
