Cuvee Jean-Paul Dry White 2009 (South France)
As with the Jean-Paul Red, this is an ideal House Wine. A blend of Colombard and Ugni Blanc grapes, the Sec wine is crisp and fresh with surprising amounts of flavour for the price.
Cousino Macul Sauvignon Blanc 2009 (Chile)
This delicious Sauvignon Blanc shows aromas of freshly cut lemon, grapefruit and granny smiths and ripe, harmonious fruit on the palate with flavours of grapefruit and guava. The crisp acidity and vibrant flavours make this wine great on it's own or an ideal match for thai food, shellfish or seafood salads.
De Bortoli Willowglen Semillon Chardonnay 2008 (Australia)
'No other country could produce a wine with so much flavour and character at this price. Light to medium yellow green, it has suprisingly tangy-lemon aromas that reappear in abundance in the tangy-tropical fruit of the palate which has good acidity and length.' James Halliday
Paarl Heights Chenin Blanc 2009 (South Africa)
The region of Paarl is named after the black rocks that glisten like pearls after the rain. This chenin is a festival of bright, white-peach fruit with deliciously intense, floral aromas and fresh vibrant acidity
Willowglen Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc 2008 (Australia)
This Semillon Sauvignon Blanc is dry with fragrant, grassy aromas and characters of gooseberry, citrus and tropical fruits. An ideal accompaniment to seafood, salads or Asian food.
Bellefontaine Sauvignon Blanc (2009) Vin de Pays D'Oc (Southern France)
Full of the vibrant grapefruit flavours that are normally associated with Sauvignon Blanc, and extremely well packaged in a distinctive heavy-weight clear glass bottle.
Half Bottle Domaine Daulny Sancerre 2008 (Loire, France)
A great Sancerre made by legendary producer Etienne Daulny from grapes grown on 40-year-old Sauvignon Blanc vines; this Sancerre captures the essence of the grape with floral, flinty/ mineral aromas (think warm wet slate) and grapefruit, white peach flavours on the palate. The combination of bright acidity and fruit but no overpowering flavours means that this is a great wine to have with almost any white fish dishes.
Pinot Grigio Principato 2009(Italy)
Pale straw in colour, with a subtle aroma of lemongrass, wildflowers and a crisp limey palate, Pinot Grigio is a very safe choice for a party or wedding as its middle of the road character tends to appeal to everyone. Known locally as ‘Surrey Water’ owing to the fact we sell more of this than we do mineral water!
Soave Classico Monteforte 2009 (Italy)
The traditional Garganega grape is blended with the rare but highly prized Trebbiano di Soave, which improves both the fruit flavours and the aromas of the finished blend. Dry, yet with soft acidity and a round almond flavoured palate.
Muscadet sur Lie Sevre et Maine 2009 Les Grands Presbyteres (Loire, France)
Good quality Muscadet has sadly become a rarity to find. As a classic Muscadet sur Lie, this is a hugely versatile style of wine. Limpid green reflections and a dry, crisp palate with superb acidity and green apple flavours. Marries perfectly with traditional dishes of the region, such as Moules Marineres and oysters.
