Storing wine at Taurus Wines

Perfect for those who love their wine rather than investors and traders

When we took on a larger warehouse it was imperative to us that the wine stored there would be kept in as perfect condition as the wines in our climate-controlled shop. Once that was achieved we decided to go one step further and create a dedicated fine wine storage facility, which is temperature and humidity controlled, plus it has the benefit of a state-of-the-art security system on top of the 24/7 security guards and CCTV provided by Dunsfold Park, where the warehouse is.

All in all this creates the perfect place for long-term storage of fine wine.

As our warehouse and storage facility is not under bond, we can only store duty-paid wine. This means, that although your wine will still have excellent provenance (assuming it comes to us directly from a bonded-warehouse), it would be harder to trade and sell it in future years. This makes our storage facility more suited to those who wish to drink their wine after it's been aged in bottle and have it available at short notice, with free delivery to the local area.

Our prices are highly competitive with those offering a similar service and are as follows:

75p + VAT per month per unopened case of six bottles
£1 + VAT per month per unopened case of twelve bottles
£3 + VAT per month per opened/mixed case of either six or twelve bottles (due to the extra staff time needed to count individual bottles during the monthly stock take)

Prices include a bi-monthly statement of your wine with estimated drinking dates and free delivery within 48 hours (often same day) of whole cases to within 10 miles of the warehouse (GU8). Payment is taken monthly by secure direct debit which needs to be set up before wine can be stored with us.
